Cancer hasn't stopped, so neither have we.

Your donation will help support the critical work that the American Cancer Society does.

Here are just a few ways we are helping cancer patients, families, and health care workers during these challenging times:

  • We have repurposed our Hope Lodge facilities across the country to house front-line health care workers facing this pandemic.

  • Our 24/7 Helpline is helping reduce isolation with available video conferencing - Currently, 80% of calls are regarding COVID-19 and our trained Cancer Information Specialists are available day and night to provide accurate, up-to-date information and find valuable resources.

  • Reach to Recovery - Connecting breast cancer patients with trained breast cancer survivor volunteers to receive virtual peer-to-peer support

  • Cancer Survivors Network - Providing a safe online connection to find others with similar experiences and interests on discussion boards and chat rooms

  • Tender Loving Care - Helping women with appearance-related side effects find affordable wigs, hats, scarves, and mastectomy items and receive them by mail.

  • Research - Lifesaving research continues through 749 active research grants, totaling $420 million.

  • Advocacy - The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network continues to lobby for legislation to support cancer patients and their families, including looking out for the unique needs of cancer patients during COVID-19 related public policy deliberations.

Thank you for standing with us, even when we are apart.
